Post-Matric Scholarship to OBC Students, West Bengal 2022-23 is an initiative by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal for students of Class 11 to postgraduate level. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to OBC students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary stages to enable them to complete their education. The selected candidates will receive maintenance allowances.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, a candidate must-
- be a citizen of West Bengal
- belong to the OBC category
- be a student of Class 11/12/Graduation/Postgraduation
- belong to a family whose income is not more than INR 1 lakh per annum
