Final Year University Exams Will Be Held By End of September, Says UGC in Revised Guidelines

The University Grants Commission will not recommend cancellation of the final year or final semester examination, the higher education authority decided in a meeting held on Monday. The End-of-Term Semester or Year Exams were postponed in the light of COVID 19 outbreak in the country. Universities and colleges will be advised to assess the graduating batch through an examination conducted in either offline (Pen and paper) or online or blended (online + offline) mode.

Those students who have any backlog papers should compulsorily be evaluated by offline or online examination as per their 'feasibility and suitability'. If any final year students who are unable to appear for these examination will be given the opportunity to appear for special examination which will conducted later.
