What is SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2020-21?

 

The Science Olympiad Foundation invites applications for SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2020-21 from students of Class 1 to 12. It is a two-level examination conducted every year in which the students are judged at the school level, zonal level and international level.

 

Who is offering this scholarship?

 

The Olympiad is being organised by the Science Olympiad Foundation. It is a renowned educational organization which has popularized academic competition and assisted the development of competitive spirit among school children.

Who can apply for this scholarship?

 

For Level 1

 

To appear for level 1 examination -

 

   1. An applicant must be a student from Class 1 to 12.

 

For Level 2

 

To appear for level 2 examination -

 

   1.     An applicant must be a student from Class 3 to 12.
   2.     He/she must be among the top 5% of students class-wise in the first level exam. (Note: Due priority will be given to marks scored in different sections).
   3.     He/she must be among the top 25 rank holders from each class at the zonal level.
   4.     He/she must be a class topper from each participating school where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam and score 50% qualifying marks.

 

How can you apply?

 

Students need to apply through their schools as individual registrations are not accepted.

 

Step 1: All eligible students can apply for the Olympiad through their respective schools.
Step 2: Schools can request the prospectus containing registration form either

 

   1.     By sending an email at [email protected], or
   2.     By making a phone call on 0124-4951200.

 

Step 3: They need to return the duly filled registration forms to SOF before the due date.
