Diwali, also known as Deepawali, Deepavali- is the Hindu festival of lights. During Diwali, people perform cleansing rituals, decorate their homes, gather for special feasts, and light fireworks. Diwali is the most awaited and the most celebrated festival of India. The festival gets its name from the deep means �light� and avali means �a row� to become �a row of lights� that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from the darkness.
