A Gateway to huge range of opportunities with Electrical Engineering degree

It's too difficult to imagine the world without electricity. We take it for granted in the modern age but it’s easy to forget that the production and distribution of electricity is still a highly specialised skill that requires thousands of talented graduates each year. Every piece of technology which runs on electricity, need experts with sound knowledge of electrical engineering. Whether you’re figuring out how to design microphones to monster machines or connect a new village to the grid, the science of electricity is an exciting and ever-evolving field.

Electrical engineering is one of the most important branches of engineering that deals with the application of electricity and electromagnetism concepts. Today, electrical engineering has spread across a range of specialties such as robotics and machines, artificial intelligence, signal processing to electromagnetism, automobile to remote sensing, laser techniques to ultra-sonic, and much more.

Why should you study electrical engineering at university?

In the modern world, there's not much who doesn't use a computer or a smartphone, both of which require electricity. Electrical engineers are going to be in higher demand than ever before as companies compete to find the most efficient, sustainable, and profitable way of moving away from fossil fuels and ‘going electric’. In India, there are top universities that offer Electrical engineering as one of the mainstream disciplines at the UG and PG level that will help you attain B. Tech and M. Tech degrees respectively.
