The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) with the funding from Tata Education and Development Trust is offering ILBS -TATA Fellowship to eminent clinicians and basic scientists from around the world as well as young researchers working in the field of regenerative medicine. The fellowship offers two senior and three junior positions for a duration of 3-12 months. The fellowship recipients can avail monthly remuneration and other benefits.
Eligibility:-
To be eligible for Senior positions, an applicant-
- Must have 10+ years of experience in the field of regenerative medicine
- Can be of any age group
To be eligible for Junior positions, an applicant must-
- Have 5+ years of experience in the field of regenerative medicine
- Be more than 40 years of age
Benefits:-
- The selected fellows will be provided monthly remuneration. The amount will be finalized by the ILBS-TATA Fellowship Committee with approval of the Director, ILBS as per specified rules.
- A one-time to-and-fro travel and convenience charge will be provided to the fellows.
- ILBS will offer accommodation within the campus to the fellows at a reasonable cost (subject to availability).

Selection Criteria:-
Candidates for Junior positions will be selected based on the following-
- Years of experience
- Thesis work
- Number of research publications in the field of regenerative medicine and/or liver
- Research field on which he/she was last working
- Does he/she have any fresh research idea which may be of interest for ILBS
- Whether the Institute will be helped by the inputs received from the young researcher
- Unique technique
- Know how or expertise
Candidates for Senior positions will be selected based on the following-
- Years of experience
- Number of research publications in the required field
- Number of PhD or students supervised in the field of Hepatology and/or Liver regeneration
- Unique technique
- Know-how or expertise
- Patents
